1960年代前後と思われる、
アメリカの老舗映画スタジオMetro Goldwyn Mayerラベルのコスチュームパンツ。

鮮やかな赤のロウシルクボディ。
細かなネップ、筋が寄った素晴らしい風合いの織生地。

余白のあるスーパーワイドな腰~腿周りから、
ベルクロ留めの裾で生地がたっぷりと溜まるメリハリのあるバルーンシルエット。

当時映画衣装として制作された物だと推測しますが、
役目を終えた今では、面白い個性を持ったファッションアイテムとして捉えられます。

個人的スペシャルな一本です。

Probably around the 1960s,
Costume pants from the Metro Goldwyn Mayer label, a long-established American film studio.

Bright red wax silk body.
A woven fabric with fine nep and a wonderful texture.

A crisp balloon silhouette with super wide margins around the waist and thighs, and a Velcro hem that collects plenty of fabric.

I guess it was made as a movie costume at the time, but now that its role has ended, it can be seen as a fashion item with an interesting personality.

This is a personally special book.
