1980年代、古いタグが付くJOHN RICHMOND
先日ドイツの友人からこのブランドの古い個体を数着まとめて買わせてもらいました。
どれも面白い設計の素晴らしいラインナップですので、時期を見てゆっくり大事に販売していこうと思っております。
こちらはケアタグが欠損しておりますが、同じブランドタグが付く他の個体にはイングランド製の記載がございますので、
こちらも初期のイングランド製で間違い無いと思います。
深いネイビーカラーのドライタッチなサマーウール、
程良い厚み/張りを持ち合わせた高密度なライニングは恐らくピュアシルクもしくは化繊混じりのシルク生地。
肩甲骨下から裾ポケットを除いた前立てまでの生地がカットされ、
赤みの強いブラウン~グリーンの様にも見え方が変わる玉虫カラーのライニングが露出した奇抜な設計。
重心の低いダブルブレストフロント、
胸元ラペル裏に隠される様に乗った刺繍は彼の愛称でしょうか。
初期のこのブランドらしい、新しいドレススタイル。
写真だけで十分に魅力が伝わる、デザイナーの興味や信条が詰まった一着だと思います。
JOHN RICHMOND with an old tag from the 1980s
Dry touch summer wool in deep navy color,
The high-density lining with just the right thickness/tension is probably pure silk or silk fabric mixed with synthetic fibers.
The fabric is cut from below the shoulder blades to the placket, excluding the hem pockets, and has an unusual design that exposes the iridescent lining, which looks like a reddish brown to green.
Double-breasted front with a low center of gravity.
A new dress style typical of this early brand.
I think this is a piece of clothing that is filled with the designer's interests and beliefs, and the charm can be fully conveyed through the photo alone.
