推定1930年代頃のフレンチビンテージ。
フロントから両サイドに流れる細かな畝の装飾。
トップボタンの真横に位置する半月形のコインポケット。
ハイライズのセーラーフロント。
両角のボタンは元々付かず、最内にあるポケットに直接アクセス出来る特殊な設計です。
サスペンダー式が主流の古いメンズスラックスでは珍しい、細身の綺麗な形。
随所に見られる手縫いも見所の一つ。
深いカーキブラウンカラー、荒さのあるドライタッチのウールボディ。
細かなネップが飛んだ風合いの良いライニングは、コットン/リネンのいずれかによる物だと推測します。
ワークウェアや制服、もしくはドレスウェア。
本来の用途は分かりかねますが、現代の美的感覚とは確かに違う物です。
近年の洋服では出会えない生地や特別な設計は、
古い服を選ぶ大きな理由の一つだと思います。
