1950年代頃の継ぎ接ぎガウン。
直線的な袖付け、前立てにも留め具が付かない原始的な羽織りの形。
アメリカで出会った詳細不明な一着ですが、民族着の類でしょうか。
厚みのある丈夫な古い綿の継ぎ接ぎ。
帯生地による縁取り、刺繍による装飾を含め、
全ての工程が手作業で作られた物だと推測します。
内/外の生地を繋ぎ合わせる一面のハンドステッチも美しいです。
同じ物はまず出て来ないであろう唯一無二の一着。
この感じでしっかり大きめのメンズサイズという点も、非常に珍しい条件だと思います。
ファッションアイテムとして作られた洋服には無い迫力、力強さを感じます。

This is an unspecified piece of clothing that I found in America, but it may be some kind of ethnic clothing.
Thick and durable old cotton patchwork.
It is assumed that all the steps, including the edging with obi fabric and the decoration with embroidery, were made by hand.
The hand stitching on one side that connects the inner and outer fabrics is also beautiful.
A one-of-a-kind item that will probably never be seen again.
I think that the fact that it is a men's size that is quite large is also a very rare condition.
